What sport is not really a sport?

Welcome back to another Con Vie installment. For those unfamiliar with my posts each week I leave a question as a starter for conversation between readers. This weeks question;
What ‘sport’ is not really a sport?

Bull riding

Never tried Bull Riding. Mountaineering is not a sport if you ask me. To be a sport you have to have a race or some sort or keep the score!!!

Poker – it’s a game not a sport. If Poker can be a sport then so can my son’s ABC board game.

Equestrian – having names like ‘Ready Teddy’ didn’t do any favours!

Good call about horse’s names. Imagine being a horse commentator.
Poker is not a sport you are right Wendy although if ‘Settlers of Catan’ ever made it to the Olympics I wouldn’t be complaining I am so good at that game!!

Half of the Winter Olympics?

Yes I agree the Winter Olympics are a little weird. Any sport that mixes, snow, lyrca, guns and skiing must be a little suspect.

Just caught a little skiing, think they call it “moguls”? It’s bounce, bounce, bounce, 360(yawn) bounce, bounce, bounce, bounce, backflip & cross ski’s over, bounce, bounce, finish.
and that’s it.
Sorry, it’s much more impressive when you’re towing 20kg of steel with you, I mean, even the pizza cutter boys can do triples.
