NCEA Results Outstanding
January 20, 2010 in HUMOUR
As you probably know NCEA results came out last week. To some students they will be a source of pride while to others they couldn’t care a flying hoot. You may know someone who has completed NCEA and I hope they did well. However, this post is not for students but for those teachers who have spent a number of hours over their holidays to mark papers.
Yes while you and I have been enjoying the balmy summer weather down at the beach, a small but dedicated group of teachers have been marking NCEA examination papers. Spare a thought for these folk who wade through hundreds of poorly written scripts in an attempt to mark the future leaders of New Zealand. As a token of our appreciation here are a couple of examples of answers given in in recent years. These clearly show New Zealand’s education system is on the right track to producing excellent scholars and well rounded individuals.
