Beautiful People – New Zealand Men at the Top

Apparently, New Zealand men are among the most attractive in the world, but Kiwi women are among the world’s ugliest. This is the news coming out of a ‘rate me’ webpage started in America. In relation to the first fact I am surprised that such an obvious conclusion wasn’t found earlier and with respect to our women, we think they are SEXY so leave them alone!!
Personally I find such a website degrading to our beautiful women. Sure some of our ladies are a little ragged around the edges, some look like they have been squeezed through a garden hose backwards and others need a good day selecting an outfit that actually fits them but we love them non the less. Without them the country of New Zealand would no longer exist and the world would not have had such diverse people as Sir Edmond Hilary, Peter Snell and Helen Clark. (I could put a hundred jokes about the last name and this site but I will shows some refrain) Furthermore, You can’t tell me most Americans, the home of the vain and fake smile, haven’t just uploaded another persons photo or spent hours in the bathroom scrubbing up!!
Fewer than one in five New Zealand women (17 percent) have been accepted as members on beautifulpeople.com, but one in three (33 percent) Kiwi men successfully joined. Members on the site rate how attractive a new applicant is over 48 hours. They then decide whether he or she is good-looking enough to join. More than 4900 New Zealanders have applied to join the site, with 1274 accepted.
What caught my attention is that obviously New Zealand women have a high opinion of themselves. Even the process of uploading your photo to such a site shows you have a high self-esteem. I like that in our New Zealand women, they might not turn heads on the catwalk but at least they think they do.
I can’t go on talking up our women without indulging in a little pride myself. The real question everyone asks when reading this article is – Am I sexy enough to make the Beautiful People Web Page? Being an exceptionally sex man I thought I would have a go and see by how far I actually made the cut by. You can view my profile here. I am a little disappointed at the way my photo came out. One of my sexiest parts of my body had to be cropped off and this just left my mug shot. Obviously I am referring to my feet which are exceptionally proportioned and my six-pack which I managed to see earlier today with the help of three mirrors and two extender poles.
