Pete Quaife, a Bassist for the Kinks, Dies at 66

Pete Quaife, a bassist who joined forces with two schoolmates to form the Kinks, one of the leading rock bands of the 1960s British Invasion, died on Wednesday in Herlev, Denmark. He was 66.

Thanks to my dad I have a found appreciation of the Kinks. Only the day I played the song  Plastic Man to my class. For some reason they were unimpressed. Below are a selection of my favourite Kinks songs. What is your favourite Kinks song???

  1. I too am a big Kinks fan, my dad liked dedicated follower of fashion but I enjoyed the rift of you really got me. Lola is awesome but i think its about a tranny which sucks.
